Krysten teaches students of all ages and levels at her private studio in Wellesley, Massachusetts. She specializes in classical pedal and lever harp instruction and strives to share her love of music in a warm and supportive environment. Her students have the opportunity to participate in regular recitals and harp ensemble courses. Krysten also offers lessons online through a variety of platforms including Zoom, FaceTime, and Skype.


Krysten earned a Music-in-Education certificate as part of her graduate studies at New England Conservatory. She is the harp coach for the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras and serves as the resident harp instructor at the organization's two-week summer camp in Maine. Krysten's recent masterclasses include a weeklong guest artist residency at Williams College, and she serves on the Board of Directors of the Harvard-Radcliffe Orchestra Foundation. Her students have attended top colleges, performed on National Public Radio's From the Top, and been named prizewinners in multiple competitions, including the American Harp Society's National Competition (first prize, Junior Division, 2019) and the Young Artist's Harp Competition (second prize, Preparatory Division, 2018).
