Krysten teaches students of all ages and levels at her private studio in Boston, Massachusetts. She specializes in classical pedal and lever harp instruction and strives to share her love of music in a warm and encouraging environment. Students may use her Lyon and Healy Style 17 (pedal harp) or Lyon and Healy Ogden (lever harp) during lessons and have the opportunity to participate in regular recitals and harp ensemble courses.

Krysten earned a Music-in-Education certificate as part of her graduate studies at New England Conservatory. She is a coach (orchestral repertoire and chamber music) for the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras and regularly serves as the resident harp instructor at the organization's two-week summer camp in Sidney, Maine. In 2016 Krysten was invited to give a masterclass as a guest artist at Williams College. Her students have attended top colleges, performed on NPR's "From the Top," and been named prizewinners in multiple competitions, including first prize in the American Harp Society's National Competition (Junior Division, 2019) and second prize in the Young Artist's Harp Competition (Preparatory Division, 2018).
